The Farmhouse is set in 7 acres of meadows and woodland and is the perfect choice for those seeking peace and tranquility. The 10m by 5m swimming pool is for the exclusive use of guests and is completely private. It is situated in the south facing back garden, well placed to enjoy sun all day whilst relaxing in the peaceful surroundings. There are plenty of outside eating areas, in sun or in shade. There is a large lawn area and neighbouring meadow and woods to explore. At the front of the farmhouse there is ample shady spots to park several cars.

The large traditional farmhouse Kitchen/Dining Room is a perfect area to unwind during a long French lunch. Traditional features include a vast open fireplace with woodburning stove and exposed beamed walls and ceiling. The Dining Room table seats up to ten. Appliances include an electric cooker with gas hob, American fridge freezer, microwave, washer-dryer and dishwasher. 

The main living room is some 30 sq metres but retains a cosy feel with a woodburning stove. It is a lovely cool room in summer but very warm and comfortable in winter. It has a large 42" TV for viewing British television if you fancy a night in after a day in the sun. It also has a CD Player and DVD player/recorder. The French doors open out onto the extensive gardens.

There are four large bedrooms over two floors.  The master bedroom (30 sq m) is a lovely dual aspect room with superking size bed and exposed beams on ceiling and walls. There is a magnificent open fireplace in the bedroom and a door leading directly to the upper garden. This is a fantastic place to watch the early morning wildlife as you look over the pool.

Bedroom 2 (30 sq m) is also on this floor. It has twin beds and is also dual aspect, overlooking the front and side garden. It also has a Playstation (PS1)  with various games to choose. You are welcome, obviously, to bring your own games. 

The main bathroom has been recently refitted to include a modern white bathroom suite, comprising a bath and a powerful walk-in shower.

On the top floor there are two further bedrooms and bathroom. Bedroom 3 (25 sq m) has a double bed and a single bed (sleeping 3) and a Football table. Bedroom 4 (20 sq m) has 2 sets of twin beds (sleeping 4) and a small TV and video recorder. We have a Travel cot available for use if required.

The second modern bathroom includes a white bathroom suite and a shower over the bath.

This is an ideal location for those who enjoy nature in unspoilt surroundings. You can play football in the garden, read in the shade or sit under the parasols a drink, overlooking the pool. There is a gas barbeque for your use.

There is a rich variety of flora and fauna - many different birds, toads, salamanders, lizards, wild deer and rabbits. The Sweet Chestnut tree has a resident Green Woodpecker nesting, and the Blue tits and Great tits have made a home of our wall by the table. If you fancy a bit of exercise, there are plenty of established walkways in the surrounding countryside.
